How a pair becomes.
No moulds. No glue. No assembly line. Every RNDR pair is grown layer by layer from photo-reactive resin, cured with UV light, finished by hand.
Photo-reactive resin.
We don't use rubber, TPU, EVA, foam, or anything moulded. Every pair is grown from a liquid elastomeric photopolymer — a resin engineered to cure into a tough, springy solid the instant it meets UV light at 385 nanometres.
The resin is proprietary to our lab. We call it ELR — Elastomeric Resin. Two grades: ELR-3 tuned for slides (Shore 65A, rebound-biased), ELR-A2 tuned for the Aero series (Shore 70A, stiffer and breathable in lattice form).
Digital light processing.
An industrial DLP printer projects an entire cross-section of the shoe at once — every voxel in a 0.05 mm slice cures simultaneously, then the build plate rises one layer and the next image fires.
That's 3,200 images per pair, projected through a 50µm pixel array. The whole pair grows in a single vat. There are no parts to assemble — the upper, the midsole, the outsole, the lattice, all printed inline as one continuous object.
Generative geometry.
The midsole isn't a slab of foam — it's a 3D lattice tuned cell by cell. Soft and springy under the heel where you land, stiff at the arch where you load, flexible at the toe where you push off.
None of this is mouldable. None of it is assemblable. The lattice exists because the geometry is the structure — and printing is the only way to build it.
Finishing by hand.
Off the printer, the pair is washed in solvent to remove uncured resin, then post-cured in a UV chamber until it reaches final mechanical properties. The supports are clipped, the parting lines hand-sanded, the surface polished.
The shoe you receive has been touched, inspected, and finished by a human in our Hyderabad lab before it's boxed.
